I bought this for a Samsung Galaxy S6 with a protective case. I called to get info, and the woman was very helpful. She went out of her way to measure cases that would fit. This appeared to be the only one.
The Trident protective case I had on my phone made it almost impossible to fit in the case. I got a clear Spigen case, and the phone fits just fine. It is just the right amount of "snug."
The belt clip is really tight. Better than too loose.
Case appears to be well-made.
I am very pleased and have no complaints.
