This leather band is the most comfortable of my 8 Apple Watch bands. I am ordering another in a different color today.

I received today, what I expected. Piel Frama quality in a watch band.
The watch band looks like it is sized for medium to small wrists. I have a 17cm wrist and it is placed near the middle with 2 holes to spare. Sot that is expected. The first time trying to insert the band peg into the other strap holes is not as smooth as the Apple Sport bands are. I was expecting it to be smooth, but it really felt like I was trying to shove a peg into a too small hole. But after shoving it on off my wrist, it was easier to put it on, off and back on again.
The straps also feel a bit notchy when rotating the straps on the posts that slide into the watch. What I mean is it does not feel smooth when rotating, like the posts have a different shape then round. I am sure they are round, but there was quite a bit of stiction that will probably smooth out over time.
I have the $150 black leather strap, and it is so low key that people probably think it's the cheaper black sport from Apple. This is much more of a statement watch band that looks its price. But I will say, that the Apple band is unbelievably engineered, smooth.
The initial comfort is not as good as I would hope for long wearing, but is comfortable enough. The suede feels fine on the interior, but I feel the stitching around the sides. Again, I expect that on wearing in, that it will improve in feel. This is another area where the much more expensive Apple band has an edge.
