All leather used in premium Vaja cases in full grain cowhide. These hides are from the top ten percent of Argentina's leather and are selected for quality, strength, character and grain. They have not been altered in any way thereby allowing the natural markings and character to show through. Full Grain cowhide is generally much cleaner and has minimal scarring and insect bites. This results in a more expensive product than other altered grain leathers, but Vaja feels that this is warranted to produce a product of extremely high quality. Vaja leather cases are hand crafted one at a time at their factories by skilled craftsmen who maintain the highest quality standards in the leather industry.

This fine leather case has a small uniform grained "Floater" finish on the outside. This type of leather is highly recommended for every day use since it offers enhanced resistance to wear, soil, and light. The inside case has a matte finish and a smooth appearance using Caterina style leather. Caterina, an extremely soft and flexible leather is highly recommended to dress your device with elegance.

The Vaja Limited Edition (Black Series) case for Apple iPhone 4 / 4S is beautifully designed and form-fitted. The iPhone slips in from the top and is snugly held in place. The iPhone's major functions are all accessible from this case; there is access to the headphone jack, power button, front and back camera, vibrate/sound switch, volume keys, speakers and docking port.

Vaja involution top for iPhone 4

First of all, I've seen some others online "dis" this case over protection and my advice to anyone would be to consider buying something bulletproof for any expeditions to the Amazon or Sahara. (I do have another for extremes) But for those who love the feel/appearance of quality leather for daily use at home, office, or out and about with basic functional protection this case is a dream. You feel the quality leather when you hold it, the entire screen and controls are open as designed, and the phone appears as designed until the protective flap is flipped up. You have many choices available via the Vaja website. I chose black with the red interior and couldn't be happier : )
Great case and service

I recently purchased a Verizon iPhone4 and spent many hours on the web researching cases. It was important that it be thin enough so I could put it in my front pocket, but still able to provide some protection. Cases like the Otterbox Defender while providing more than enough protection were way too bulky. And thin cases like the Case Mate Barely There, Speck Fitted, some of the SGP's, etc., but none quite did it for me. I know some balk at the price for the Vaja (and Piel Fram), but given how much is spent on the iPhone and monthly service fees it does not seem so bad as long is the return on value is there. I ordered the Black series black/black, and it arrived two days after ordering it. (Cases.com service is second to none) I am extremely happy with the quality and ergonomics. It fits my iPhone like a glove, feels great in my hand when making calls, and looks great. To anyone who might be concerned about the bottom flap, I find it a non-issue. In fact, it is easier to use the phone when it flips down and behind the phone. It also does not block the camera. All in all, if you are looking for a leather iPhone4 case, you cannot go wrong with any of the Vaja's.

If the iPhone 4 and a case were doubled at purchase time, this is the case I would recommend. If you appreciate quality craftsmanship, you will appreciate this case. I have used it for almost a week and have come across nothing negative. The shipping was excellent also. It shipped on Monday and arrived Tuesday.
