    Piel Frama Leather Case

    This is my fourth or fifth Piel Frama leather cellphone case over many years - they are the best! ? Handmade in Spain, classy, durable, and I especially like the magnetic closure ? flip case with slots for credit cards ? ?

    Unique, BUT not Perfect #2

    I too like the over-the-top flip case for the 2020 iPhone SE, and I was happy to find it as another reviewer has said. That being said …This case was EXTREMELY COSTLY. My prior phone (iPhone 5S) case was a flip case (flip-top) for my much smaller phone at a much smaller cost and I loved that flip case (flip-top). I like the smaller phones but I upgraded and the Iphone SE 2020 was the smallest iPhone I could find that was new and reasonably priced. If I could have fit this new phone (iPhone SE 2020) in that case I would have :) I like this style flip cases because it "encases" the phone. My new case just came in the mail yesterday and it appears structurally well made (with that expensive cost, it should), the magnetic closure worked very well to keep the flap from inadvertently opening, the phone fits snug in the case. As another reviewer has said, I also could not find a comparable design for my new iPhone SE 2020 and believe me I seared. Nevertheless, I am happy as well the Piel Frama makes this flip-top design case and I too would recommend.

    Unique, but not perfect

    This is, as far as I can tell, the only over-the-top flip case for the 2020 iPhone SE, and I was happy to find it. That said … • It's remarkably expensive. I remember paying about $5 for similarly functional cases for my old iPhone 4s. They didn't last long, but I bought a half-dozen of them for a a fraction of what this case cost me. • The case makes access to side buttons difficult, and seems to obscure the bottom mic—although I haven't run tests to gauge how much. • Same thing for the Home button and, notably, for the upper lefthand corner of the screen, which is where Apple requires us to tap to return to the previous application. Still, given that no one else seems willing to make a comparable design, I'm happy Piel Frama does. If, like me, you like that flip-top design, I'd still recommend it.

    Great case

    Well made leather case. The stitching is good. The phone fits the case well. The holes for the buttons and lens are positioned for good accessibility. No plastic bits to crack or break. The flap has a magnetic closure, which keeps it from moving around. The card slots are snug, though may stretch a bit over time. Not sure if the placement of the magnets on the flap will have any effect on magnetic strips on credit/debit cards.
